Embedded Software Engineer/Senior Engineer
(Kuala Lumpur, Penang)
Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and documentation of customer specifications and requirements.
  • Design and presentation of system concept.
  • Implementation, configuration and verification following product development processes.
  • Trouble shooting and debugging towards zero failure methodology.
  • Close collaboration within a global software development team.
  • Possibility for an Overseas exposure for involved projects.
Requirements:
  • Master/Bachelor in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience related to embedded application development.
  • Working knowledge in microcontroller and microprocessor application development i.e. Interface control circuitry, Real Time Operationg System knowledge, Embedded system programming.
  • Excellent programming skills using C/C++.
  • Experience in performing effective code review, testing and debugging to determine sources for errors.
  • Knowledge and experience in Linux Open Source development envirnoment.
  • Well-versed in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
  • Knowledge in software Configuration Management in an environment using Clearcase is preferred.
  • Knowledge in software Requirement Management using relevant tools, eg. DOORS is preferred.
  • Able to work independently and creative.  Positive & proactive approach towards problem solving.
  • A self-motivated and a good team player.
