  International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, looking to recruit suitable qualified candidate for the position of Nursery Teacher at the Institute’s Headquarters in Ibadan.
  Vacancy – Nursery Teacher (2-year renewable contract)
  Responsibilities:
  Be responsible for the education and welfare of the Nursery pupils.
  Plan and prepare courses and lessons following the programmed in place.
  Work with the Playgroup, Pre-Kindergarten Teachers to develop, introduce and incorporate Montessori teaching
  Assess, record and report on the progress of the pupils
  Maintain a well-ordered teaching area.
  Responsibility for and participating in two afternoon clubs
  Follow the timetable as agreed with the Head.
  All further requirements of a class teacher are laid down in the ‘Class Teacher’s Professional Duties’ report.
  And any other duties as may be assigned by the Head
  Qualification / Experience:
  B.Ed/BSc Education.
  Minimum of five (5) years’ teaching experience.
  The ideal candidate must possess among others:
  Excellent English reporting, writing and oral communication skills
  Be committed to and promote academic excellence.
  Ready to provide in-service training as required by Head.
  Strong ability to co-ordinate, priorities and organize workload; take initiative and work under pressure

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian Nationals for the following position at the Institute’s Headquarters, Ibadan.

Position	Duties	Qualification and Experience
TEACHER 2-year renewable contract	Successful candidate will among other things perform the following: Be responsible for the education and welfare of Grade 4 pupils Plan and prepare courses and lessons following the programmes in place Assess, record and report on the progress of the pupils Maintain a well-ordered teaching area Responsible for and participate in two afternoon clubs Follow the timetable as agreed with the Head Implement other requirements of a Class Teacher as laid down in the ‘Class Teacher’s Professional Duties’ report Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Head	B.Ed or First degree in a related discipline plus Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). Candidate must have minimum of three years teaching experience. He/She must be child-centred and experienced in enquiry-based teaching approach. Possession of musical and artistic skills is desirable. Ability to teach French is added advantage.
