Qualification and Experience

 
 TEACHER

2-year renewable contract
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following:
  • Be responsible for the education and welfare of Grade 4 pupils
  • Plan and prepare courses and lessons following the programmes in place
  • Assess, record and report on the progress of the pupils
  • Maintain a well-ordered teaching area
  • Responsible for and participate in two afternoon clubs
  • Follow the timetable as agreed with the Head
  • Implement other requirements of a Class Teacher as laid down in the ‘Class Teacher’s Professional Duties’ report
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Head
B.Ed or First degree in a related discipline plus Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). Candidate must have minimum of three years teaching experience.
He/She must be child-centred and experienced in enquiry-based teaching approach.
Possession of musical and artistic skills is desirable.
Ability to teach French is added advantage.

Minimum of a BA/B.Sc in Economics, Accountancy, Administration etc ideally with an MBA; Strong operational experience: ideally has worked in a senior management jobs in Nigeria for 10+ years in a socially responsible organization with progressive experience leading to at least three years experience in international operational/administrative management.
Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience in health overseeing human resources, information technology and legal issues.
